The Beatles ‘1’ Is Back On Several Billboard Charts

The Beatles have been swapping one hit album for another in America for some time now. The band regularly finds a space on several Billboard charts, though which project fans in the U.S. prefer seems to change nearly every frame.

This week, The Beatles push their 1 compilation back to a pair of tallies. The hits-laden collection reappears on two of the most competitive charts published by Billboard, and it’s already spent years on both of them.

1 lands highest on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart. The set appears at No. 46 on the 50-spot list of the most-consumed full-lengths and EPs that Billboard classifies as some kind of rock or alternative, when it comes to genre.

At the same time, the compilation is also back on the Billboard 200. On that roster, which is known as the most important for albums in the U.S., The Beatles are back at No. 181.

1 has already spent hundreds of weeks on both tallies. On the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart, The Beatles’ favorite has racked up 315 stays. That number is much higher on the Billboard 200, where it’s already spent 545 frames somewhere on the list.

Last week, The Beatles were nowhere to be found on the Billboard 200, but 1 was able to sit at No. 192 on the tally the frame prior. On the Top Rock & Alternative Albums list, however, their recent track record is a bit different.

Abbey Road returned to the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart last week in something of a surprise move. It landed at No. 50, in last place, and then quickly disappeared. The period before, 1 ranked just one rung higher, at No. 49.
