Sir James Paul McCartney was born on June 18, 1942.He is regarded as one of the most influential artist in the history of rock music. He was part of the legendary band The Beatles along with John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The Beatles were the most raging Brit band of the rock era. They have received ten Grammy Awards, an Academy Award and fifteen Ivor Novello Awards, they were the best selling band in history will estimated sales of over 600 million records worldwide.
