The Beatles Movies Reportedly Cast The Fab Four For Solo Biopics With Gladiator 2 & Saltburn Stars

The Beatles movies have reportedly cast the Fab Four for solo biopics with Gladiator 2 and Saltburn stars. Earlier this year, it was announced that the Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes – best known for SkyfallSpectre, and 1917 – would helm four films about The Beatles, with each one centered on a different member of the band – John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison. The ambitious four-part film event is expected to start production in 2025 and be released throughout 2027.

Now, Mendes may have found his stars for his films about the Fab Four. According to The InSneiderThe Beatles movies have cast Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, and Charlie Rowe as George Harrison. The rumor remains unconfirmed by Sony, the studio behind The Beatles movies.

If the reported castings are true, The Beatles movies may have secured some of the best young stars to play the Fab Four. This is only fitting since, during the 1960s, The Beatles became global icons who achieved unparalleled levels of critical and commercial success. In turn, casting The Beatles for their biopics is an especially difficult feat given the iconic status of each member, especially Lennon and McCartney, the band’s primary singers and songwriters.
