Corey Taylor Reveals Best Stone Sour Song He Thinks Serves as the Best Introduction to the Band

While Corey Taylor is technically best known as the lead vocalist for Slipknot and has enjoyed a successful solo career, he still has a catalog worth of material with Stone Sour to be proud of. During a new interview with Revolver, Taylor was asked what the best Stone Sour song is to introduce those who have never heard of them, and his reply was:

“Probably ‘Through Glass‘ — not just because I wrote it, but because it was such a sleeper song. Like, there were only a handful of people who really believed in that song, and then when it came out, it just exploded like nothing I’d ever seen before.

“So that’s something I’m really proud of.”

Stone Sour — who have released six studio albums to date since its 2002 self-titled debut — are currently on an indefinite hiatus, with Taylor claiming last year that “drama and issues” had taken its toll on the band, which Corey had initially started in 1992, put on hiatus in 1997 after he teamed up with Slipknot and then by 2000, Stone Sour would be resurrected.
