The birthday message arrived after Page turned 80 on January 9 and Jones celebrated his 78th on January 3. Robert’s photo and remarks were well received by admirers. One of them wrote in the comments section: “Robert, this is very sweet and touching…” Another user commented on the photo, saying: “One of the most stunning band photos ever! Pure gold! Brilliant.” Another Zeppelin fan also offered their birthday greetings, writing: “Many happy returns to them both!” Thank you for your lifetime of inspiration and leading us over the hills.” It’s been more than 15 years since Plant, Page, and Jones performed as Led Zeppelin. Their final performance was on December 10, 2007, at the Ahmet Ertegun tribute concert in London. Jason Bonham, the late drummer’s son, played the drums during this concert.

Plant’s Participation in 2024 Teenage Cancer Trust Concerts
In other news, the singer has been announced as one of the performers for the 2024 Teenage Cancer Trust concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall, which will take place from March 19 to March 24. Roger Daltrey, who has been instrumental in raising funds for Teenage Cancer Trust for the past 24 years, will arrange the final event in 2024. The singer said in a statement: “The 32 million [pounds, or about $40.6 million]] raised from these concerts has been the foundation for the 28 specialized units within the [U.K.’s National Health Service], as well as specialist nurses and youth workers to be there for a young person when cancer has turned their world upside down.” Aside from Plant, the roster includes the Who, Noel Gallagher, Eddie Vedder, The Chemical Brothers, and more. Tickets for the March 18 and 20 shows will be available beginning this Friday, January 12, at 9 a.m. local time.
